Jules Verne
Son, Michel Jean Pierre (4 August 1861-1925). A classic enfant terrible, he married an actress over Verne's objections, and had two children by his underage mistress. It seemed to take his father's death for Michel to finally grow up. He oversaw publication of Verne's last novels, "Invasion of the Sea" and "The Lighthouse at the End of the World" (both 1905).
Abraham Lincoln
Sixteenth president of the United States (4 March 1861 - 15 April 1865).
Gave a speech about wanting to halt the further spread of Slavery in July of 1861. The Civil War began in April of that year.
Theda Bara
Her mother, Pauline DeCoppett (1861-1957), born in Switzerland and was also Jewish, outlived daughter Theda by two years.
Jack Cunningham
His father, Maurice Frederick Cunningham (c.1861-1937), was a building contractor who had built many of the Hollywood studios constructed in the early 1920s.

Family history: His father, Dr. Peleg Benson Wing (1861-1932) divorced his mother Ida M. Porter on April 9, 1912 after 27 years of marriage; remarried to Anna McCormick (1879-1954) sometime prior to 1914. Grandfather: Lewis Melvin Wing (1828-1909) was married to Lucretia A. Foss (1836-1888). His middle name was derived from his paternal great-grandfather, Massachusettes-native Reuben Wing (1771-1862).
