Rebecca Jarvis

Joined "Saturday Early Show" (1997) as its news reader. Will also serve as business and economics correspondent for CBS News [April 17, 2010].

Known to her friends as "Becky", she was one of Teen People's "20 Teens Who Will Change the World" in February 2000.

Graduated from the University of Chicago in 2003 with a degree in Economics and Law, Letters & Society. Graduated from St. Paul Academy and Summit School in 1999. A recipient of the University of Chicago Dean's Grant, she also studied European banking and financial markets at the Universite Sciences Po and Dauphine Universite in Paris, France.

Was a candidate on "The Apprentice" (2005).

On March 7, 2006, CNBC announced that it would be hiring Jarvis as an associate producer. She is now a general assignment reporter, based at CNBC's world headquarters.
