Vanna White

Was one of the first four contestants on a 1980 episode of "The New Price Is Right" (1972). She did not get out of Contestant's Row.

Used to list her occupation on "Wheel of Fortune" (1983) as "Letter Turner" (prior to the touch-sensitive game-board); now identifies herself as "TV Performer".

Her blood type is AB+ (coincidentally, the same as her "Wheel of Fortune" (1983) co-host, Pat Sajak).

She, along with host Pat Sajak, aired their 5,000th taping of "Wheel of Fortune" (1983) on Saturday, February 28th, 2009.

In 1992, she was recognized in "The Guinness Book of World Records" as "Television's Most Frequent Clapper." Averaging 720 claps per episode, she puts her hands together more than 28,800 times per season!.

Son Niko Santo Pietro (Nicholas), born 1994.

Vanna was immortalized in a 'Weird Al' Yankovic song called "Stuck In A Closet With Vanna White" on his Even Worse Album. They later had a scene together in Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult (1994).

Daughter Gigi Santo Pietro (Giovanna), born 1997.

White files for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court from restaurateur George Santo Pietro, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple separated in November. White is seeking joint custody of their two children. [15 May 2002]
