Favorite movies are Amistad (1997), She's So Lovely (1997) and Good Will Hunting (1997).

Filmed a few appearances for the television series, "Manchester Prep" (1999), a spin-off of the hit movie Cruel Intentions (1999). She played "Millicent Davies", rival to Kathryn (Amy Adams). The series was not picked up despite having several episodes filmed, and was later edited to make the movie Cruel Intentions 2 (2000) (V). Sarah's scenes were not used, although she appears frequently in the trailer.

Has co-starred in network TV shows with both Rick Gomez, on "What About Brian" (2006) and his brother Joshua Gomez, on "Chuck" (2007).

She and her husband, Matthew Jacobs, welcomed a son, Oliver Michael Jacobs, on June 29, 2011 in Los Angeles.
