From June of 1996 until March of 1997, she had her own cooking show on the Lifetime network called The Main Ingredient.1997
In 1997, she wrote her own cookbook: Soap Opera Cafe: the Skinny on Food From a Daytime Star. She dedicated it to the person who helped her realize she had a passion for cooking, her father, Paul Mattson.
