Melissa McBride

Melissa McBride had worked primarily as a commercial casting director in Atlanta, GA. from 2000 until, in 2010, she was unexpectedly offered the role of Carol Peletier in AMC's The Walking Dead; McBride had worked with the show's creator Frank Darabont briefly, three years prior, when she was cast for a small supporting role in his feature film "The Mist".
