Was a possible for David Duchovny's role in "The X Files" (1993).

Worked as a bouncer & a model before getting his break in "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" (1995).

Reported to have suffered several small strokes during the filming of "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" (1995).

Lost twenty pounds of muscles between the end of "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" (1995) and the beginning of "Andromeda" (2000) He has since regained the muscle mass.

Underwent drug therapy for an aneurysm in his left shoulder; complications from the medication forced him to withdraw from a planned role in Black Dog (1998). [Fall 1997]

First child, son Braedon Cooper Sorbo, was born to his wife Sam Jenkins weighing in at 7 pounds, 8 ounces, in Henderson, Nevada. [22 August 2001]

Second child, son Shane Haaken Sorbo, weighing in at 12 pounds, 6 ounces. [31 March 2004]

Third child, a daughter - Octavia Flynn, was born to his wife Sam Jenkins on October 16, 2005. Their daughter weighed in at 8 pounds, 7 ounces.
