Judith Chapman

Trim, glamorous, crystal-eyed American actress known for villainess roles in daytime soaps. Has graced a number of programs since the late 1970s: "As the World Turns" (1956), "Ryan's Hope" (1975), "General Hospital" (1963), "One Life to Live" (1968) and "Days of Our Lives" (1965).

Took a 14-year sabbatical from Hollywood, sold her L.A. home and moved to Palm Springs before returning to get the coveted role of scheming "Gloria Fisher Abbott" in "The Young and the Restless" (1973), replacing actress Joan Van Ark.
