Chris Daughtry

Has four children, with wife Deanna: a step-daughter, Hannah Price, born on September 7, 1996, a step-son, Griffin Daughtry, born on June 30, 1998 and fraternal twins, daughter Adalynn Rose, who arrived at 11:06 a.m., weighing 6 lbs, 5 oz and son Noah James, who followed at 11:25 a.m., weighing 5 lbs, 5 oz, on November 17, 2010, by a gestational surrogate.

Bo Bice (who made it to the final 2 in "American Idol: The Search for a Superstar" (2002) in season 4) influenced him to audition.

He auditioned for "Rock Star: INXS" (2002) but he didn't make it in so he decided to join "American Idol: The Search for a Superstar" (2005) instead.

He made it into the finals of the fifth season of the reality television show "American Idol: The Search for a Superstar" (2002) and is friends with Ace Young.

The band's self-titled debut Daughtry was one of the biggest selling artist releases of 2006/2007 and the quickest selling rock debut in Soundscan history.
