Chloe Webb

Early work in improvisational comedy. Was an original member of Gerard Alessandrini's hilariously musical satire "Forbidden Broadway," creating devastating song parodies on everyone from Andrea McArdle and Mary Martin to Carol Channing and Angela Lansbury. The show started in cabaret form in December of 1981 and made it to off-Broadway in 1982.

Made her film debut co-starring with Gary Oldman in Sid and Nancy (1986), an unrelentingly grim and brutal story of Sid Vicious, bassist for the punk group Sex Pistols. Chloe gave a raw, scary, absolutely riveting perf as Sid's volatile, strung-out, highly disturbed girlfriend and perennial groupie Nancy Spungen (1958-1978), who introduced Vicious to heroin and was knifed to death by him in a hotel room while both were in a drugged-out stupor. Chloe won both the National Society of Film Critics and Boston Society of Film Critics awards for her amazing work here.

Won several Los Angeles based stage acting awards: Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award and Dramalogue Award for "The Model Apartment" (1988) and a Drama-Logue Award for "The House of Blue Leaves" (1987).
